Thermic expansion of a closed network
(Hydroflex / Hydromat)

If temperature variations are expected in a closed network (chilling or heating process) designers must avoid extreme pressures, if they do want not to use pressure release valves, which can modify the network parameter.

An Hydroflex or Hydromat system allows for liquid storage and draw back without any help from the pressure release valve.
